Cooperative Charting

Cooperative charting is the agreement between United States Power Squaderon and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Adminsitration establiash in 1963 as a Memordam Agreegreement. It is one of the most effective partcipatory services between private citizens and a federal agency of the United States Government. USPS members report discrepancies between charted and observed measurements in six broad categoeries:

1. Range line surveys

2. Natuical chart surveys

3. US Coast Pilot reports

4. Small-craft facility reports

5. Depth reports

6. Inspection reports
